Can I order samples of your products?

Yes, you can order samples to try our products before purchasing. A $25 fee applies and will be credited to your first order. To order samples, please visit the Purchase page and let us know which products you are interested in.

Single-use products

A better takeout option.

What are your single-use products made of?

Our products are made primarily of unbleached cardboard. To make them water-resistant, they are lined with PLA, a plant-based composite, or a recyclable and compostable water-based coating.

What is the difference between biodegradable, compostable and recyclable?

A biodegradable material decomposes naturally, but not always quickly. A compostable product decomposes quickly under specific conditions, enriching the soil without leaving harmful waste. A recyclable item can be reprocessed and reused to make new products.

Where are your single-use products manufactured?

Most of our single-use products are manufactured in Europe or Asia. Cambium is continually seeking local partners to try to locally manufacture everything possible in Canada. The origin of our single-use products is subject to change.

Where are your reusable products manufactured?

We have some products made in Quebec, including our reusable dishes and transparent lids for our bowls, which are made from recycled plastic. When local sourcing is not possible, our products are manufactured in Europe or Asia.

Shipping and Return

Simple logistics and personalized service.

What is your return policy?

Since our products are intended to come into contact with food, we cannot accept returns on products whose box has been opened. Additionally, the box must not be marked or damaged in any way. We ask that you carefully check that it is the correct product and size before opening the box. If the box has not been opened, we accept returns with a shipping and restocking fee.

What are your delivery rates?

We offer competitive shipping rates. For most major Canadian cities, the minimum threshold for free shipping is $500 or $750. You'll find detailed information on our shipping rates in the "Order" section.

Is it possible to track my order?

Yes, it is possible to track your order using the tracking number provided to you at the end of your order.

What are your delivery times?

Please allow at least 72 hours for your order to arrive. If you are located in areas outside of major cities, please allow 5 days.Please allow at least 72 hours for your order to arrive. What are your modes of transport for delivery?

Cambium is proud to collaborate as much as possible with our delivery partner, Nationex. Nationex offers electric deliveries in several major cities and regions across Quebec. Their electric delivery service covers areas such as Montreal, Laval, parts of the South Shore, Quebec City, Gatineau/Ottawa, Sherbrooke, Trois-Rivières, Saint-Hyacinthe, and Saguenay. This expansion means that nearly two-thirds of Quebec's population has access to eco-friendly parcel delivery.

Do you offer international shipping?

We do not currently offer international shipping. However, if you are interested in any of our products, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Are the packaging containing Cambium products compostable?

Delivery boxes:
Although they are compostable once the tape is removed, it is best to recycle them.

Plastic packaging:
The plastic used to bag the products is not compostable, it is recyclable.

NB: As with any plastic bag or small recyclable particle, packaging must be grouped together in larger quantities to be detected by sorting center equipment. The most popular method is the “bag of bag” method, which involves combining all your packaging into a single bag and placing it in the recycling bin once it is full.

Have you researched the conditions of employees in production plants?

Absolutely. As with many high-volume manufacturing facilities, the majority of Cambium's product manufacturing is automated, resulting in a significantly reduced number of human workers. The few employees employed at the factories have access to working conditions and compensation that meet current national standards.
